DESCRIPTION

The course will provide attendees with the right tools to diagnose and treat a range of shoulder and knee pathologies. This course has been tailor-made to tackle the more challenging aspects of arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery and will display innovative surgical treatment options based on the newest clinical evidence.

The attendees will hear talks on current concepts, engage in lively discussions with faculty and their peers and also have the chance to perform the latest techniques in the ArthroLab.

Dr. Magnus Ödquist
Tree Top Hospital, Male, Maldives

Dr. Odquist is specialized in Shoulder, Knee and Sports Medicine Surgery. He completed his medical training at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm Sweden. Dr. Odquist completed his fellowship training in arthroscopy in South Africa under the supervision of Dr Willem van der Merwe, former president of ISAKOS and has practiced in Sweden for the past 20 years and recently moved to Maldives to continue his clinical and medical affairs management career.

Dr. Foo Gen Lin
APEX SPORTS CLINIC, Singapore

Dr. Foo completed his medical training from the UK, having trained at Cambridge University and St. George’s University, London. He started his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Singapore and was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). Dr. Foo was awarded the Ministry of Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship to undergo advanced training in Sports and Hip Preservation Surgery with Dr. Matthew Brick in New Zealand.
