DESCRIPTION

The program presents strategies to equip physicians with the highest level of diagnostic and treatment practice modalities specific to hand and wrist arthroscopy along with open surgery. This course format has been designed to address the more challenging aspects of hand and wrist pathologies and will highlight innovative surgical treatment options based on the latest clinical evidence.

FACULTY
Dr. Toshiyasu Nakamura
Department of Orthopaedic Surgery School of Medicine Keio University, Tokyo, Japan


Dr Nakamura is a Professor from Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, School of Medicine, International University of Health and Welfare. He graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, specializing in Orthopedics Surgery. Following this, he obtained his PhD with a thesis in functional anatomy of the Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex and later became an A/Prof at Fujita Health University, Nagoya, Japan. He completed his Research Fellowship, at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN & Research Fellow, in State University of New York At Buffalo NY. He has very deep knowledge in Hand and Wrist surgeries. To date, he has done over 90 publications mainly in Hand and Wrist and Upper Limbs surgeries. 
Dr Chung Sze Ryn
Singapore General Hospital, Singapore


Dr. Chung is a Consultant from Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery Singapore General Hospital. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and completed her fellowship Wrist Arthroscopy and Upper Limb Spasticity & Paralysis surgery in Institut de la Main (International Wrist Center) in Paris, France under the supervision of Drs. Christophe Mathoulin, Ahlam Arnaout, Lorenzo Merlini, Mathilde Gras and Caroline Leclercq in 2023.
