DESCRIPTION

The course presents strategies to equip surgeons with the highest level of diagnostic and treatment practice modalities specific to foot and ankle arthroscopy and open surgery. This course format has been specifically designed to address the more challenging aspects of foot and ankle pathologies and will highlight innovative surgical treatment options based on the newest clinical evidence. This course is designed for lower limb or foot and ankle surgeons with at least five years of foot and ankle arthroscopic experience.

Dr Tan Ken Jin
OrthoSports, Singapore

Dr Tan is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Foot and Ankle disorders and Sports Injury. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and underwent orthopaedic surgical training in Singapore. He was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal on completion of his advanced specialty training. He went on to complete He completed two separate fellowships in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction: the first at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Germany under the renowned Professor Zwipp and the second at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in the USA with Dr Mark Myerson, a world leader and pioneer in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr Kim Jin Su
Sejong Sports Medicine & Performance Center, Seoul, Korea

Dr Kim is a practicing Professor in Sejong Sports Medicine & Performance Center, Seoul, Korea. He graduated from Gyeongsang National University in 2001 and started specializing in F&A in 2006. Following this, he was awarded 2 traveling followships and completed them in 2013 and 2014. To date, Prof Kim has published almost 100 Research Papers on Trauma and F&A Sports injuries. Outside his regular work, Prof is a huge Sports fan, particularly in basketball. Currently, he is also the Medical Director and a Team Doctor of Korean Basketball Association of Korea.
