Dr Tan Ken Jin
OrthoSports Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Singapore

Dr Tan is a dual fellowship–trained orthopedic consultant with a subspecialty focus on Foot and Ankle disorders as well as Sports Injuries. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his orthopaedic surgical training locally, where he was awarded the prestigious College of Surgeons Gold Medal upon completion of his advanced specialty training.

To further refine his expertise, Dr Tan pursued two international fellowships in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. His first was at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Germany under the mentorship of the renowned Professor Zwipp. He then trained at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in the United States with Dr Mark Myerson, a world leader and pioneer in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

With this breadth of international experience, Dr Tan brings a comprehensive and innovative approach to the management of complex foot and ankle conditions, combining advanced reconstructive techniques with a deep understanding of sports-related injuries.
Professor Charles Kon
Changi General Hospital, Singapore

Professor Kon is a dual fellowship–trained Foot and Ankle specialist at Changi General Hospital, Singapore. He graduated from Sheffield University in the United Kingdom and went on to complete his first fellowship in 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital, The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, under Professor Jae Hon Anh, focusing on arthroscopic Foot and Ankle deformity correction.

Proficient in French, Prof Kon furthered his training in 2019 at Clinique du Sport in Bordeaux, France, with Dr Stéphane Guillo, a founding member of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for Foot and Ankle in Europe, where he specialized in MIS techniques.

In addition to his clinical practice, Prof Kon has contributed extensively to academic research, with numerous publications in Foot and Ankle deformity and ankle preservation. His current subspecialty interests lie in Foot and Ankle joint preservation and reconstructive surgeries, where he combines advanced surgical techniques with a patient-centered approach to restore function and mobility.
DESCRIPTION

The course presents strategies to equip surgeons with the highest level of diagnostic and treatment practice modalities specific to foot and ankle arthroscopy and open surgery. The format has been specifically designed to address the more challenging aspects of foot and ankle pathologies and will highlight innovative surgical treatment options based on the newest clinical evidence.
